How do you describe that moment when you first become a parent, when you hold your child in your arms for the first time and realize the awesome miracle of life and the tremendous responsibility you have for this bundle of joy? To compound this responsibility is the understanding that scientists now have of an infant's brain and how critical it is for the first four years of life to be full of love, belonging, safety, and positive stimulation. Our role as parents is incredibly important!
